About this role
A Summer Placement - Optics at Leonardo offers an undergraduate internship within the Advanced Targeting engineering line, providing hands-on experience supporting the design and development of electro‑optic products. The 13‑week programme (June–August 2026) delivers technical training, exposure to the product lifecycle, and coaching from experienced engineers. The role is based in Edinburgh with an expectation to spend at least three days per week onsite.
