About this role

Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing. Follows standard operating procedures and ensures laboratory safety, quality and regulatory requirements are met. Responsible for providing leadership during the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, laboratory department or multiple laboratories.

Responsibilities

Manage validations, proficiency testing and evaluation and quality assurance initiatives
Prepare documents and hold meetings relating to performance appraisals and corrective action
Interview and hire new staff
Develop and monitor appropriate indicators for quality and continuous improvement
Manage operations of the departments including human resources, budget and finance

Qualifications

Associate degree in laboratory or biological sciencesBachelor's degree preferredNational laboratory certification or specialty certificationLicense or provisional license in North DakotaContinuing education credits
