The position focuses on managing purchase order lead times, resolving material delays, and coordinating with suppliers to meet customer commitments. It involves monitoring shipment plans, addressing on-time shipment issues, and manually scheduling orders that fall outside standard lead times. The role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills to manage complex logistics problems and drive operational efficiency.
