Hiring Our Heroes is an initiative of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, launched in March 2011 to connect service members, veterans, and military spouses with American employers and create economic opportunity while strengthening the national workforce. HOH runs nationwide hiring events and career fairs and provides transition and career-readiness programs, employer engagement resources, and an online job portal to help military talent find meaningful civilian employment. The program partners with businesses, nonprofits, and government to deliver training, mentorship, and hiring tools that ease the military-to-civilian transition. Its focus is on practical outcomes—placing veterans into jobs while helping employers recruit and retain skilled, mission-driven talent.
