Horizons is a Windham, Connecticut–based nonprofit that provides comprehensive supports and programs for people with developmental disabilities and their families. They offer supported living and residential services, supported employment and job assistance, educational supports, and recreational programs like summer camp and weekends away, plus arts, wellness, and hospitality initiatives. Guided by a mission to “create opportunities for people where they live, learn, work and play,” Horizons focuses on inclusion, independence, and community integration. Families, volunteers, and donors can get involved through volunteering, events, donations, and participation in the organization’s arts and community programs.
