About this role

LIFE by Be Caring is recruiting Support Workers to provide dedicated, person-centred care for individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism in Newcastle and Gateshead. This role involves active, hands-on support to help clients live safely and meaningfully within their communities, including assisting with daily routines and embodiment of positive behaviour principles.

Responsibilities

Provide structured, one-to-one support for individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism
Assist clients with daily routines and safe integration into their communities
Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies to reduce risk and ensure safety
Maintain clear communication with team members regarding client needs and incidents
Support clients to move between locations while ensuring their wellbeing and independence
