This role is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all aspects of patient surgeries for a high-volume physician practice. The position involves creating and submitting surgical encounters in Soarian for billing, verifying patient demographics and insurance information, and obtaining surgical authorizations. The coordinator works directly with surgeons to ensure accurate procedure and diagnosis coding while collaborating with supporting departments to ensure proper scheduling and coding practices.
