Surgical First Assistant

The Surgical First Assistant works under the supervision of the attending physician to provide quality, individualized patient care during all phases of the surgical experience. This role requires demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to serve as a first assist and scrub for various surgical specialties, including Orthopedics, General, Robotics, Vascular, Gynecological, and Spine cases. The position involves assessing patient status, interpreting information to identify requirements, and providing services according to department policies and procedures.
