Surgical Tech First Assistant

The Surgical Tech First Assistant supports surgeons in the operating room by assisting with exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions to ensure safe operations and optimal patient outcomes. This role involves maintaining the sterile field, preparing surgical cases, and ensuring adequate supplies and instruments are ready based on specific case and patient needs. Additionally, the position offers a leadership opportunity to act as a preceptor and role model for new staff and students.
