Surgical Technician

The Surgical Technician assists the circulating nurse in preparing surgical patients and scrubs for procedures using aseptic technique. The role involves monitoring OR inventory, cleaning instruments and rooms, and facilitating the daily surgery schedule. Additionally, the technician is responsible for the reprocessing of reusable items, including decontamination, sterilization, and labeling.
