The Surgical Technologist provides support in the preparation and care of surgical patients under the direction of a nurse or physician. The role applies sterile/aseptic technique and knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures to facilitate surgeons during invasive therapeutic and diagnostic operations. This position supports operating room services at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center — Appleton, with emphasis on orthopedics and spine procedures.
