Surgical Technologist

Surgical technologists work as part of the surgical team under the supervision of registered nurses and the Director of Surgical Care to assist surgeons during procedures. They are responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field, anticipating surgeon needs, and ensuring the efficient execution of surgical operations. The role also involves cleaning, sterilizing, and inspecting surgical instruments and equipment.
