About this role

The Sustainability Manager - Climate Lead supports GE Aerospace's climate change mitigation and reporting obligations, serving as the Subject Matter Expert for product climate-related topics, including Scope 3 emissions and Product Carbon Footprint assessments. This cross-functional role interfaces with internal organizations and external stakeholders to implement GHG inventory management plans and ensure alignment with global standards. The position also involves preparing for EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) requirements, such as Digital Product Passport (DPP) obligations.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of Scope 3 categories and reporting across all businesses
Partner with engineering and supply chain teams to embed circular economy principles into product development
Build readiness for product-level carbon lifecycle and ecodesign obligations under EU regulations

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university (in Aerospace, Mechanical, Materials, or Environmental desired)Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration
