Sustainability Specialist

The Sustainability Specialist role focuses on integrating energy, carbon, water, waste, and ESG targets into the design basis of a greenfield plant, ensuring they are tracked through to handover. Working within Engineering Management, the position involves collaborating across engineering disciplines and with design contractors, HSE, permitting, utilities, and operations to translate sustainability ambitions into practical engineering decisions. The role combines technical sustainability expertise with engineering coordination and governance to make sustainability a core design criterion rather than an end-of-project compliance exercise.
