Switchboard Operator

The Switchboard Operator role involves greeting and welcoming patients and the general public who call into the facility, providing direction and information both internally and externally. The operator is responsible for following all general and emergency procedures accurately and in a timely manner, including making phone calls, overhead public address announcements, pages, and other electronic notifications. The Communication Center operates 24 hours a day, requiring operators to be prepared to work any shift.
