Switchboard Operator

The Switchboard Operator is responsible for operating the Mitel switchboard console to answer and route all incoming and outgoing calls for the hospital. The role involves managing overhead paging, monitoring emergency lines, and ensuring secure conditions by tracking alarm systems and weather alerts. This position also handles mail distribution and covers the Hostess desk when volunteers are unavailable.
