Switchboard Phone & Chat Volunteer (POC training group)

Switchboard LGBTQIA+ is seeking volunteers to provide a listening service via phone and instant message to the LGBTQIA+ community and their supporters. Volunteers will engage in real-time conversations to offer support on various topics, including mental health, relationships, and identity, while adhering to non-directive and non-judgmental values. The role requires a commitment of 6 hours per month and involves participating in dedicated training groups to develop essential listening and communication skills.
