About this role

This role involves developing chemistry for scalable and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes within the Synthetic Molecule Design and Development organization, supporting the Lilly Genetic Medicines portfolio. The scientist will collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize synthetic methods, lead CMC activities for clinical trials, and manage tech transfer for oligonucleotide therapeutics. The position requires expertise in oligonucleotide CMC, process development, and regulatory submissions to bring life-changing medicines to patients.

Responsibilities

Lead CMC activities for oligonucleotide therapeutics from pre-clinical through commercialization
Develop and optimize scalable manufacturing processes for complex oligonucleotide conjugates
Provide technical leadership on route design, scale-up, and validation activities
