About this role

The Director, System CDI and Hospital Inpatient Coding provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the hospital system's Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) program and inpatient coding functions. The role ensures documentation accurately reflects severity of illness and complexity of care to support appropriate reimbursement, quality reporting, and improved patient outcomes. The Director leads and develops CDI specialists and inpatient coders across a multi-facility health system.
