About this role

The Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and securing MCAP's storage and compute infrastructure, including physical servers, cloud services, and backup solutions. The role involves capacity planning, documentation, installation, configuration, performance monitoring, and providing end‑user training, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure reliable and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, manage, and secure storage and compute infrastructure
Collaborate on capacity planning and document infrastructure configurations
Oversee acquisition, installation, and upgrade of hardware, software, and cloud services
Perform server administration, backup, security audits, and disaster recovery procedures
Monitor system performance and generate performance reports
