Neurophos
Neurophos is seeking a Systems Engineer to own the quantitative, end-to-end performance model of its optical vector-matrix multiplication engine. This role involves building and maintaining link and power budgets, quantifying impairments, and running system-level simulations to define the performance envelope of a first-of-its-kind computing platform. The position requires deep expertise in communication theory, signal processing, and behavioral modeling to support architecture trades and cross-functional collaboration.
We develop OPUs (optical processing units) that are 100x faster and 100x more energy efficient than current GPUs. Neurophos' OPUs compute massive matrix multiplications fully in-memory, with extremely high clock speeds
