About this role

The Tax Manager at StarPlus Energy is responsible for comprehensively reporting all tax-related matters and maintaining internal controls while preparing tax returns and analyzing transactions. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with SEC, IFRS, and other authoritative guidance. The position also includes managing internal and external reporting for tax filings, accounting, and coordinating the preparation of tax-related balance sheet account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with SEC and IFRS guidance
Manage internal and external tax reporting including monthly forecasts and annual budgets
Assess accounting for uncertain tax positions and maintain deferred tax asset valuation allowances
