The teach. Rural Scholarship Program offers financial support and a guaranteed permanent teaching position in a rural or remote NSW public school for future teachers in secondary mathematics, science, TAS, or inclusive/special education. Eligible applicants, including HSC students, university students, and career changers, receive annual scholarships, practicum payments, and course fee contributions while completing their initial teacher education degree. Upon completion, scholars commit to a minimum three-year permanent full-time teaching appointment in the specified region.
