Teacher Assistant

The Teacher Assistant provides collaborative support within the school building, assisting with instruction, engaging students during academic and non-instructional activities, and monitoring student movement. This role involves training fellow instructional assistants, providing classroom coverage in the teacher's absence, and implementing IEP adaptations and behavior intervention plans. The position requires effective communication with supervisors, staff, and parents while maintaining current CPR/First Aid and PCM certifications.
