About this role

The Teacher Licensure/Certification Coordinator & Advisor will lead the development, implementation, and expansion of multiple teacher licensure pathways at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, collaborating with academic departments, K‑12 districts, and community college partners. The role focuses on designing accelerated post‑baccalaureate programs, graduate degree options, and transfer pathways, while also advising current and prospective students in the STEM Education Center.

Responsibilities

Design and implement Accelerated Post‑Baccalaureate licensure program
Develop and strengthen partnerships with school districts, community colleges, and K‑12 organizations
Conduct market analysis, feasibility studies, and enrollment projections
Create recruitment, advising, and student support systems for teacher preparation pathways
Track program outcomes, prepare reports, and identify external funding opportunities
