Teacher

The Outreach stream of Intensive Services provides treatment services within the IWK Mental Health and Addictions Program, focusing on children and adolescents up to 19 years of age. The teacher works within an interdisciplinary team to support individualized education goals, facilitate school reintegration, and liaise with public school staff to develop educational plans. This role involves traveling across Nova Scotia to meet with clients, families, and schools to address disrupted learning and educational challenges.
