Teacher

The Teacher at Dunbar College Prep Academy provides appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area to help students fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The role involves developing and implementing lesson plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with staff to determine instructional goals and methods. Teachers are expected to create a conducive classroom environment, manage student behavior, and maintain open communication with parents and colleagues. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, a valid Texas teaching certificate, and at least one year of student teaching or approved internship experience.
