The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) is the state agency that administers driver licensing, identification, vehicle registration and titles, and statewide highway safety programs. It oversees the Florida Highway Patrol and coordinates traffic law enforcement, commercial vehicle safety, crash reporting, and driver records and compliance (including REAL ID and organ donor registration).
