About this role

As a Tech Lead, you will design and implement pipelines that ingest, transform, and publish structured context into Merck's enterprise knowledge graph and Data Context Layer. This role focuses on establishing scalable semantic standards to support agentic AI capabilities while ensuring data consistency across global healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

Design and lead implementation of semantic pipelines for knowledge graph population
Define patterns for entity resolution, mapping, and validation across enterprise sources
Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical outputs with semantic standards
Establish standards for data contracts, lineage, monitoring, and failure handling
Ensure context reliability for downstream APIs, applications, and agentic AI systems

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field7+ years of experience in data engineering or technical architectureExperience with knowledge graph population tools and semantic ETL frameworks
