Technical Lead, Search & Index

The Technical Lead for Search & Indexing will lead development of Wayve’s indexing infrastructure to make large-scale multimodal driving video and sensor data discoverable and searchable. The role focuses on designing, scaling, and owning retrieval systems that support vector similarity and metadata filtering, delivering a production-grade MVP quickly while informing long-term build vs. buy decisions. You will collaborate with ML, platform, and data curation teams and help shape the team’s engineering culture as it grows.
