Technical Manager - Work Capacity & Entitlements (Self Insurance)

This role involves independently assessing complex medical, vocational, and legislative information to make evidence-based determinations regarding work capacity, suitable employment, earnings capacity, and ongoing entitlement to weekly compensation benefits. The Technical Manager acts as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance to claims teams and supporting reviews, disputes, and capability development. The position requires strong legislative interpretation, analytical skills, and the ability to make sound, defensible decisions in compliance with NSW Workers Compensation legislation.
