About this role

As a Technical Project Manager in Data & AI at Roche, you will lead medium to large-scale initiatives by bridging high-level data strategies with technical execution. You will act as a trusted advisor, managing complex dependencies, resource planning, and Agile delivery while orchestrating workstreams for metadata and data governance. The role requires translating business needs into actionable engineering plans and fostering communities of practice to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Independently define and manage the scope of medium to large technical initiatives
Plan and execute Global Data Strategy workpackages with cross-stream dependencies
Proactively identify and mitigate scope-related risks in fast-paced environments
Provide flexible PMO support shifting between active governance and passive roadmap tracking
Orchestrate workstreams focused on Metadata Management and Policy-Based Access Control

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fieldMaster's degree preferred
