The Technical Services Librarian serves as the primary administrator of the Young Law Library's Ex Libris Alma Library Services Platform, ensuring the integrity and continuous improvement of library systems for managing and providing access to collections. The role oversees system configuration, metadata quality, discovery services, and technical workflows while leading technical services operations including cataloging, acquisitions, and metadata management. As a tenure-track faculty member, the position also involves participating in faculty governance, scholarship, and strategic initiatives for the Young Law Library and the University of Arkansas.

Responsibilities

Administer Ex Libris Alma Library Services Platform and ensure system integrity
Lead technical services operations including cataloging, acquisitions, and metadata management
Extract and analyze library data to support strategic planning and institutional reporting
