As a Subject Matter Expert in mechanical systems for a data center operations team, this role ensures the continuous, reliable, and efficient management of critical infrastructure. The position involves driving operational standards for capital projects, managing vendor relationships, and performing root cause analysis on site incidents to maintain high performance and safety. The individual will also lead training initiatives and evaluate next-generation technologies to enhance operational excellence and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

Drive operational standards and functional requirements for capital projects.
Perform root cause analysis and lead incident deep-dives for critical failures.
Create and sponsor operations training programs for technical personnel.
Evaluate installed operating conditions and validate project acceptance criteria.
Develop Business Continuity Plans and Runbook standards with vendor management.
