Zayo is hiring a Technical Support Tech I to monitor the stability of a multi-state wide area network and manage connectivity failures. This role involves proactively monitoring device performance, engaging vendors, dispatching resources, and ensuring timely resolution of events impacting customers. The successful candidate will act as the initial point of triage for network disruptions and communicate status updates to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Monitor performance of network devices including routers and switches
Identify and escalate network connectivity failures to internal teams
Communicate event status and resolutions to impacted customers
Manage underlying carriers to drive timely failure resolutions
Process vendor maintenance and internal change requests
