About this role

This role supports the Integrated Sample and Logistics team in Veterinary Medicine Research and Development by ensuring safe and compliant transportation of biological materials and hazardous goods. The employee acts as a subject matter expert for domestic and international shipments, managing chain of custody while coordinating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and couriers. You will maintain strict adherence to regulations from agencies such as DOT, IATA, and the NRC while supporting supply inventory functions.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with hazardous materials and radioactive shipping regulations
Maintain chain of custody for biological specimens during transport
Prepare export documentation and communicate with freight forwarders
Review customs broker documentation and provide entry information
Support supply inventory and invoice management operations
