Technician

The Technician will work in the Materials Testing & Exploration section of the Maine Department of Transportation, performing laboratory tests on construction materials such as soils and aggregates according to AASHTO, ASTM, and state procedures. The role involves operating and maintaining testing equipment, handling heavy samples, and ensuring safety and quality standards under the supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor.
