About this role

Profluent is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join the Technology Development team and contribute to the development and application of high-throughput workflows for genome editing. The role involves conceptualizing, developing, and scaling arrayed assays for gene editing in mammalian cells while collaborating internally to improve novel and existing assays. This position operates at the intersection of biology, automation, and data to advance cutting-edge research and drive impactful projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and automate arrayed and pooled mammalian cell-based gene editing assays
Design and execute low and high throughput plasmid cloning campaigns for DNA library construction
Analyze experimental data and interpret results from plate-based assays and next generation sequencing
