Technology Internal Controls Supervisor

This role manages personnel and functions related to Southern Company’s technology-related Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls to ensure all control objectives are met for management’s SOX 404 certification. The position involves leading annual SOX risk assessments, evaluating the design and effectiveness of IT-related controls, and facilitating SOC report assessments and segregation of duties analysis. It requires building strong relationships with internal and external auditors while identifying innovative solutions to improve process efficiencies around controls testing.
