The Telecommunications Compliance Manager oversees NWN's multi-state regulatory compliance and filing regime for VoIP and telecommunications services. This role involves managing federal and state filings, coordinating with third-party vendors, and ensuring accurate tax treatment for new products. The position requires cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Sales teams to maintain adherence to complex regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

Oversee telecommunications regulatory compliance and filing regime for multiple legal entities
Prepare and file federal and state telecommunications reports including FCC forms
Manage third-party telecom compliance vendors for accurate filings and remittances
Ensure proper mapping of SKUs for correct telecom tax treatment in SureTax
Coordinate responses to audits and examinations by state and federal regulators

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, or related field5-7 years of telecommunications regulatory compliance experienceExperience with FCC Form 499-A and 499-QExperience with FCC Form 477Familiarity with state public utility commission filings
