Telecommunications Operator

The Telecommunications Operator handles a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls, providing information and assistance to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff. This role involves operating multi-line telecommunications and switchboard systems, utilizing overhead paging and communication systems, and supporting emergency communication processes. The position requires maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and exceptional customer service while documenting communication activities and monitoring security or life-safety alarm systems as needed.
