This role ensures the smooth operation of day-to-day telecommunication functions for police, fire departments, and EMS by receiving and dispatching emergency calls, monitoring radio frequencies, and maintaining accurate records. The position involves working closely with various city departments, agencies, and the public to coordinate responses to emergencies and non-emergency situations. The incumbent must maintain on-call status and work overtime as necessary to support continuous operations.
