About this role
The Assistant Engineer supports the Chief Engineer in maintaining, operating, and repairing all vessel systems aboard Lindblad Expeditions ships. This role is shipboard and rotational, working 12-hour days on approximately a 6-weeks-on/6-weeks-off schedule. The position requires work in confined spaces and at sea, with some interaction with guests. It also involves strict adherence to maritime, safety, and environmental regulations and company standards.
