Tenure-Track Faculty Positions

The Department of Chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University is hiring multiple tenure‑track faculty members to start in Fall 2027, primarily at the Assistant Professor level but open to senior candidates. Candidates may work in any chemistry area, with particular interest in interdisciplinary fields such as materials, energy, sustainability, catalysis, chemical biology, automation, and data‑driven approaches. The role includes building an independent, externally funded research program and contributing to undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring.
