About this role

The project aims to update the Prudential Standards, Guidelines, and Rating System (PSGRS) for African DFIs to align with local and international standards, enabling better assessment of governance, financial condition, and operational capabilities. The updated PSGRS will support the design of solutions to identified weaknesses and encourage regulatory changes by DFI supervisory authorities.

10 years professional experience with DFIs or financial sector institutions in AfricaExpertise in prudential regulation, financial standards, governance, performance assessment, benchmarking, risk managementExperience in developing or applying prudential frameworks, performance standards, benchmarking systems, diagnostics, assessment toolsKnowledge of global financial governance frameworks, ESG norms, climate-related financial disclosures, blended finance, digital transformationKnowledge of African DFI mandates, operational models, DFI typologies
