The Test Automation Engineering Intern will work with Redwood's test engineering team to develop and maintain Python‑based automation for firmware and hardware validation, build and bring up new test stands, and debug failures across software, firmware, and hardware. The role offers hands‑on experience with instrument control, CI pipelines, and documentation while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers.
Redwood Materials is building a domestic stockpile of critical battery materials and deploying large-scale energy storage systems to power data centers and the nation’s grid. The company recovers and refines end-of-life batteries and manufacturing scrap into battery‑grade materials, helping close the loop on the battery supply chain. By scaling recycling, materials production, and grid-scale storage, Redwood aims to secure resilient U.S. supply chains for electrification while reducing the environmental impact of battery production.
