Therapy Assistant | Complex Mental Health

The Therapy Assistant provides therapeutic programming and rehabilitation support to clients within a Complex Mental Health setting, working under the direction of Physical and/or Occupational Therapists. The role involves implementing therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence, mobility, and quality of life for individuals with severe mental illness, cognitive impairments, and complex psychosocial needs. As part of an interdisciplinary care team, the assistant observes, documents, and reports client progress while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
