About this role
PhD research position on in-orbit assembly and manufacturing (ISAM) of large reflector antennas, focusing on architecture, assembly concepts, and optimization of building blocks to improve performance and cost. The project combines manufacturing, RF and digital techniques, and radio resource management, and includes 18 months at Thales Alenia Space in Toulouse and 18 months at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
