Thesis Work in Grid-Forming Control

This thesis position focuses on identifying the most promising methods for grid-forming control to create a benchmark for future converter control development. The role involves analyzing scientific literature and industry patents to address grid stability as renewable energy sources replace synchronous machines. It is a 5-month, 30 ECTS project located at ABB Corporate Research in Västerås.
