This thesis position offers a unique opportunity to work with the Materials Technology & Electromagnetics team at ABB Corporate Research in Västerås, Sweden. The role focuses on building a mechanical model of a flatness measurement system used in sheet metal processing, requiring a deep understanding of solid mechanics and the finite element method. Students will collaborate closely with ABB Measurement & Analytics to address real customer challenges and gain insight into industrial processes.
